The Kingsley Community Fund was established in 2017, from the proceeds of the sale of the former youth and community centre.  The aims of the fund are broadly in line with the remit of the youth and community centre, that being to support the community of the parish of Kingsley, with a strong preference towards children and young people. There are two tiers of funding available from the Kingsley Community Fund. - The first tier is for grants up to £1000, and applications can be made directly from this page. - The second tier is for grants up to £20,000, but before applying you must first contact the Community Foundation on 01785 339540.  Applications will not be accepted if you have not first discussed your project with us. We would prefer to fund capital projects, (work on buildings and equipment), as opposed to revenue expenses and running costs, unless your project involves an extension to a pre-existing service.  For projects that are seeking more funding than £1000 we would expect to see business plans, community consultation documents, evidence that your project could be successful, (rather than solely anecdotal evidence), and, if your project is for work on a building or piece of land, we would expect to see architectural plans and permission for development. We would like any grant received from us to be worth at least 33% of the overall project value.  For larger projects you would need to show evidence that you had secured any other necessary funding before any funding is released from this fund. We will support organisations based in, or working for the benefit of people in the following local authority areas; - Staffordshire Moorlands, (but only those based in the parish of Kingsley) In order to qualify for a grant from this scheme your project must be supporting the following types of beneficiary; - People resident in the parish of Kingsley in the Staffordshire Moorlands - A strong preference towards children and young people Your project must meet one of the following criteria: - Increase or enhance your current service provision - Make your organisation more efficient, more sustainable or more resilient - Be used to improve facilities for your service users - Be used to provide facilities that will benefit the people of Kingsley, (with a strong preference towards children and young people)

This £20m funding call seeks to test and accelerate the hypothesis that AI-enabled formal methods can make high-assurance cyber defence practical at scale. We're accepting proposals on a rolling basis, reviewed in quarterly batches, for Blue Teams (3–6 teams, approx. £2.5–3.5m each) to build production-grade, security-critical software components whose key security properties are backed by machine-checked proofs – validated through coordinated red-team exercises. Applications are open on a rolling basis and reviewed in quarterly batches. Major (up to GBP 2,000) and standard (up to GBP 1,000) awards towards academic conferences, seminars and workshops in the history of philosophy, in the UK or abroad.

Caithness Futures will launch in 2026 with its first annual donation from RWE’s Camster II Wind Farm of £160,000 which will be index-linked for the Wind Farm lifetime, expected to be 25 years. In 2027, the fund will likely have received its first annual contribution from RWE’s Golticlay Wind Farm. RWE also operates a number of other funding sources in Caithness, which you can find in the useful links section below, along with a community newsletter which explains why the Caithness Futures fund was set up. Following community consultation, Foundation Scotland is keen to work with other funders to grow this pooled fund with contributions to this Caithness-wide fund from other sources.

Centre of Excellence Phase 2 - Sector Capability, Capacity and Skills In 2025, the department appointed a consortium to scope and design a Centre of Excellence for Children’s Social Care (CSC) Data and Digital; this was known as Phase 1. The Centre will help local authorities (LAs) improve their data and digital maturity with respect to CSC services. The consortium engaged with LAs and wider sector stakeholders to identify opportunities, challenges and risks related to CSC data and digital work. It produced recommendations and a delivery plan to support delivery and scale-up in Phase 2. We are seeking a supplier (or consortium) who can deliver the action/delivery plan (from Phase 1) for the Centre of Excellence for CSC Data and Digital (Phase 2).
